Why Volunteer?

Volunteering is a great way to get involved at French International. Whether you’re a new parent or have been here for years, volunteering provides opportunities for you to support the school while getting to know other families in the French International community.

Parents who volunteer:

Model responsible, service-oriented behavior to students;
Support the student’s social and educational life;
Affirm the School’s goal of exposing students to diverse experiences and cultures.

What Opportunities are Available?

Our current and ongoing volunteer opportunities are posted on our Volunteer Opportunities page. You can also find specific volunteer opportunities in the weekly Family News and in emails from your Room Parent.

Our top three most popular volunteer jobs are: Helping to bring French International events to life (fundraising, community building, academic), the Eco Action Team, and the Parent Liaison Committee (PLC), but there are plenty of more ways to get involved!

How do I Volunteer?

How do I log my hours?

You can log your hours on the Volunteer Log, found here on the Parent Portal homepage under Resources. It’s important to log your volunteer hours, even if you are part of a program that automatically gives you a set number of hours so that we know how our community has been involved!
