•  What does the event entail?

The social hour and silent auction begins at 6 pm, then moves into dinner and the live auction and paddle raise. The after party runs until 11 pm. 

•  Where is the event?

The Gala will be held at the Nines Hotel: 

525 SW Morrison St, Portland, OR 97204

•  What is the dress code for the evening?

Most ladies wear either a cocktail dress or evening gown and men wear a suit or a tux. We encourage you to be on theme (Garden of Dreams) as much as possible. Your best florals, or starry/dreamy themed clothing is welcome. 

•  Can I buy a ticket the evening of the event?

The event is sold out! No tickets will  be available at the door.

•   Will I receive my tickets in the mail?

No, we do not issue tickets.  Your name and the names of your guests are listed on our registration form.  You simply check in upon arrival and give them your name/s.

•  If one of my guests is unable to attend, can I invite someone else at the last
minute?

Yes, you can invite someone other than your original guest.  You will need to tell our registration table the name of the person who is unable to attend, and provide them with the name of your new guest.  Your new guest will be issued a bidder number to use throughout the evening.

•  Can I register my Credit Card to use the evening of the event?

Yes, you will be able to scan your credit card the evening of the event. However, for the sake of convenience, we encourage you to choose the "I authorize French International School of Oregon- Portland to use the credit card entered on the submission page at event 2023 French International Annual Gala "Les Jardin des Rêves" option. 

•  What Credit Cards do you accept?

Visa / Master Card / American Express/ Discover

•  How many seats are at each table?

Ten (10)

•  Can I choose who I sit with?

We do our best to sit everyone with their desired table mates. However, we cannot guarantee that we can honor each request. In order to guarantee your table companions, we encourage you to purchase a table and contact Monica at mperez@faispdx.org with your guest list.  

•  Where should I park?

The Nines Hotel offers valet service at a special event rate of $29/night, and there are a number of parking garages nearby. Likewise, there is limited street parking.
