French International School of Oregon aims to hire professionals of the highest professional integrity and caliber. Teachers are normally certified, whether in their home country or in the United States. Teachers also usually have at least three years of teaching experience. We seek individuals able to work collaboratively and within the framework of a whole-school project. For other professional positions, we expect to see strong evidence of experience in the particular area as well as the ability to work well within a team environment.

The IT Systems Manager is responsible for the overall operation, maintenance, and security of the campus data network, servers, systems, and devices. The IT Systems Manager works in close partnership with the CFOO, Education technology, Director of Facilities, and Associate Head of School in planning and implementing technology that supports learning and day-to-day operations at FI.

The primary role of the school counselor is to provide support to students on issues related to sense of self, wellness, and guidance throughout their school experience. They will develop, execute and assess a counseling program which defines ways for students to experience a sense of belonging and support with social-emotional needs. This includes guidance lessons to support the classroom environment in each division.

French International School of Oregon seeks a full-time Art Teacher for its middle school French language immersion program for the 2024--25 school year.  The Art teachers’ primary role is to support the mission of the School by planning, organizing and implementing an appropriate instructional program in a learning environment to encourage students to develop and fulfill their personal potential.

The Temporary IT Support Specialist provides technical support to students, teachers, and staff. This position is responsible for inventory management of all tech devices, Windows computers, Chromebooks, iOS and MacOS devices as well as the configuration, maintenance, and support of computers, their peripherals, software, telephones, projectors, and other audio-visual equipment. The technical support specialist also provides technology support for some school events and performances, some of which occur in the evening.

French International summer camp assistants are responsible for assisting instructors in the supervision and implementation of lessons and instructional plans in a learning environment that encourages students to fulfill their personal potential in a summer camp environment. 

The role of the Student Monitor is to encourage collaborative play, learning, and safety during the “in-between” times in our students’ school and after school day.

​French International is seeking qualified teachers to work as substitutes at the preschool, elementary, and middle school levels. Fluency in French preferred.
